They may be known as the Pledis Boys or the juniors of After School, but the members of boy band NU'EST prove that they are unique in their own colors and musical style. At an average age of 17, the five members of NU'EST (Aron, JR, Minhyun, Baekho & Ren) have released two singles, scored an endorsement deal as ambassadors of the Korea Scout Association, and gained a strong fan-base globally within months after their debut in March this year. Kicking off their Singapore ShowKase with 'Face', a highly anticipated performance which requires the use of chairs as part of the dance choreography, NU'EST took the audience by storm and brought the atmosphere to a new high with their powerful dance moves.

Held at St James Power Station, Powerhouse on 26th October, the ShowKase saw fans who came queuing at the venue as early as 7am in the morning just to secure a good standing spot to catch the boys up-close. There were also fans who came all the way from Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and even Korea in support of NU'EST first appearance in Singapore. Serenading the 600-strong audience with hit songs like 'Not Over You' and 'I'm Sorry', all eyes were fixed on the members as they showcased their individual strong vocals and rap prowess. The ShowKase continued with a fan interaction segment where 3 lucky fans were invited on stage to pick up the dance moves of 'Face' personally from NU'EST. Not to mention, a Q&A session and lucky draw also took place that evening where fans got to walk away with personal belongings or autographed items from the boys themselves.

Sweeping everyone off their feet with a special and energetic performance of Gangnam Style, the dance was nothing short of flawless to the fans even though half of the time the members were dancing to their own style on stage. Certainly an unforgettable evening for NU'EST and L.O.Λ.Es, a birthday celebration was held in advance for the youngest member Ren, whose birthday happened to be around the corner. Having debuted in the spotlight at a young age, Ren revealed that his birthday wish is to have fans who will continue to support NU'EST fervently. This was later followed up with an encore performance of signature hit 'Action', which brought the ShowKase to a satisfying close.
